Sporg Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) Edit: Disregard, no bug. As the title says, it seems that the names for weapons release and cannons are switched in the controls setup. The control for weapons release fires the cannons and the control for cannons fires the rockets. nomdeplume Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 AFAIK, there's only one weapon release control - "Weapon Fire". The "Cannon" button makes the cannon the active weapon, but doesn't fire anything. i.e. there's no dedicated button for firing the guns and a separate pickle button for other munitions like on (most?) US aircraft. "Weapon change" doesn't appear to do anything, and I think might be an unused entry (i.e. no function for this aircraft, like flaps or L/R throttle controls).
Sporg Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) Nomdeplume, you are partly right. I messed up about the reverted names, "Cannons" only switch active weapon to cannons, and "Weapon fire" fire whatever weapon is active. However, "Switch weapons" does work in weapons mode, and apparently cycles between available weapons. Azrayen Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 However, "Switch weapons" does work in weapons mode, and apparently cycles between available weapons. I believe this is on of the "default(FC3)-inherited" controls, and should be removed a little later along the way ;) Indeed there is no such control in the M-2000. Each weapon has its own control to be selected (be it on the throttle or on the PCA).
