Strange starter sequence bug (or feature?)

I had landed, and could not figure out how to turn the engine off.

I ended up switching off all power and systems, but the engine kept running.

I think this is where I switched power on again.

In my attempts I tried pushing the engine start button again, thinking it might work for stopping the engine.

Now the weird thing happened: The start sequence started, adding a 33kg/min fuel flow on top of idle, meaning I could no longer hold the aircraft with the brakes. RPM I think was stuck at 100%.

As it accelerated (in idle) I managed to steer it onto a taxiway and, not being able to stop, I got airborne.

Now in the air, with full throttle, I got a reading of 298 kg/min, which also seemed higher than normal, and eventually I got an over-RPM warning light.

I could throttle down, but never further than minimum 33 kg/min.

So, this seems like a bug?

I wanted to reproduce it, but haven't had the time yet.

Not sure about what happened next, but the engine shutdown button is on your left, the red button (marked 35 pp. 14 in the manual).

I don't see it in the parking checklist though.

Ahh, there she was..

I thought I had looked everywhere, but apparently not. :)

Thanks a lot. :)

Yeah, what happened next I'm sure must be a systems bug.
