I am working on a small mod and I have to vertically invert a number of .dds Texture maps so then line up with the models UV maps. Unfortunately when using paint.net (I don't want to buy photoshop). Most of the dds maps open fine but a small number open but only display a small part of the image. When I open these maps in the UV editor in 3DS Max, they show up fine but I can not invert the image there and resave.

 

Does anyone know how to rectify this problem or a work around?

I have attached pictures of what the dds files look like in 3DS Max UV Editor and what they look like in paint.net.
