maxdiver Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Has anyone worked out how to combine the viewport camera images into say a cross rectilinear then "warp" to a fisheye/partial fisheye desktop output (without using a third party warping pipeline/app)?.

Even if it was, to get something that is mappable on a the same surface, you would need to use a crazy FoV (DCS FoV), which would leave you with a very little pixel density in the center and high pixel density on the edge, definitely not what you want. If anything can be done, it has to be done at the rendering level.
