Cerry_00 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Hello everyone, I'm really getting into creating missions and hosting game for my squadron. I found this problem: if I create a very basic mission, let's say 500kb, the other players can join really quick my home server. If I create a bit more complex mission, let's say 5MB, other clients took more than 5 minutes to load the mission.. probably is my upload rate that is poor but I was wondering about this solution: since it's a private server and I already know who's gonna play it, is there a way to pre-share the mission in order to have the client with a local copy and avoid them to wait the download?
Pikey Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 afaik its downloaded every time regardless. 500KB is not that big, 5MB sounds like it has sounds and media in it.
