What I Learned Today

I learned to set an azimuth and distance using the RSBN manual mode and successfully flew to the field I wanted.

 

It's the small things sometimes.

 

Of course, I had the ME map set to "imperial" units and forgot the distance counter increments in km. I was mystified why my distance seemed to be diminishing as rapidly as it was. Suddenly I'm at 0 km and the F10 maps shows at least 25 nm left.....ah ha.
