Black screen once in aircraft after 1.5.3 update

As the title says once the mission loads and I'm "in" the aircraft the entire screen is black. I can move either the mouse or my head (track ir) and the screen flickers for a bit and I see nothing but sky and water. No terrain. No 3d model. Nothing but bare sky and infinite sea.

I've updated to the latest version of the C++ Visual suite.

My graphics drivers are at the latest WHQL version (15.30.1025-151117a-296575C).

I don't have crash logs related to the event. (I am having a crash upon exiting the game and an occasional loading screen hang up but I've just learned to deal with that since there hasn't been a concrete fix for the issue for me since the 1.5 beta released)

Update again: For some unknown reason DCS 1.5.3 stable is working 100% fine. I have no idea why, or how, but I haven't had an issue in 24 hours. Thanks? I guess? lol
