Host your mission, then go to task manager and check your DCS.exe CPU utilization ...

EJLstd.png

How much % does it show and how many CPUs do you have (cores). Note that we need to know the amount of logical cores.

The CPU will be the bottleneck if:

- you have 4 cores, and your DCS process shows CPU utilization above 26%.

- you have 8 cores, and your DCS process shows CPU utilization above 13%.

This is because DCS world has a couple of treads, but they run actually only under 2 cores max.

But the real simulator logic with all the simulation and mission coordination is run under one core.

And if the complexity of your mission is high, or you have a lot of units alive at the same time, then the server cannot cope with the amount of data it needs to send and the calculations it needs to do at the same time.

In other words, the simulator gets out of sync... But it is highly likely that even in that situation, the simulator should not show units floating around like chickens... It should show lag of these units. Like the would receive only updates every 1 second or so on the client.

Laat me weten hoe het gaat.
