Hawx_163 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Hey guys! I wanted to thank you for your awesome job making that M2000, and to inform you that I asked what is the unknown switch on the IFF panel doing on the real aircraft to one of my relatives who is flying the M-2000 for the french "Armée de l'Air" :joystick: If you are still missing some informations about the real airplane, I'd be happy to transmit to him. Cheers!
Azrayen Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Hello Hawx_163 I'm not aware of an unknown switch, which is it? [edit] Oh, you meant that? Well, G/D stands for gauche/droite (left/right), and IIRC that's related to interrogation in mode 1. But in DCS, the IFF is very simplified (no codes/IFF modes simulation). So I guess this switch (and the left-hand knob and code numbers selectors) will remain un-used in DCS M-2000. ++ Edited April 12, 2016 by Azrayen

So it is irrelevant what code you enter the IFF because all that matters is whether you are Red or Blue.
