dred516 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I am unable to dial frequencies on com1 in the mirage m2000c. It seems that the numbers are locked. When I mouse over to change the frequencies the numbers doesn't change. I am new to flying this jet and had no issues in the a10C. I can call ATC of other airports and only then will the frequency change to that ATC. Unable to change manually. I see other you tubers changing this manually in the Mirage. Anyone know what is causing this?
mvsgas Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 So far I have only notice this online. It could be due to easy communications being used. Other people have seen this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=156734 To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
dred516 Posted June 6, 2016 Author Posted June 6, 2016 I don't believe this worked for me. Maybe I did something wrong. Can you tell me how to turn easy comms off?
dred516 Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 It has been a long time since I edited the options in Game Play section in dcs world. Works for me now. Thank you..
sthompson Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Feature request: tunable V/UHF when easy comms are on It would be great if we could tune the V/UFH radio even when a MP server has set easy comms on. I realize that contacting ATC might cause it to reset frequency. Right now there is no way to use SRS on MP when easy comms are turned on, and I don't think that server admins who use easy comms are likely to turn them off. This is a disadvantage of the M-2000C compared to the F-5E, for example. So far I have only notice this online. It could be due to easy communications being used. sthompson Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Mission designers can edit the mirages channels in the Mission editor. And setup the freqs required for the mission. If they don't want to add those ànd they don't want to turn off the easy-cheat communication mode. Then you can hardly blame Razbam, but instead should find a better server. But have you checked the default channels? Because most voice channels used for SR are in the default channels list for the Mirage. (251, 264, 254, etc). You can view the ones set for the mission you are flying, by checking the kneeboard (K or right-shift + K) on the second page.) I'm not trying to blame Razbam for anything, but I do not see the point in keeping the primary radio locked to the current AI frequency when easy comms are enabled. What is the purpose of this? Am I missing something? I do not have this problem in the F-5e, for example, or in other planes with tuneable radios. Why has Razbam coded the Mirage so that I can't switch the frequencies manually when easy comms are turned on? I often fly on Aerobatics Online and it seems that whenever I'm on that server using the Mirage and want to use SRS with a group, they have chosen a frequency that is not currently available in the Mirage in the currently running mission. (Last night I wanted to use 251 for example, and it was NOT available according to the kneeboard.) I realize that the mission designers can change that, but they only seem to update the missions occasionally and the missions go for weeks with no changes. I'm Softball on Multiplayer.
