Changing Anti-Aliasing Issue

Trying out different AA options, after changing setting from between 8x, 16x, 8xq, and 16xq. Entering a mission caused the entire screen to be a solid turquoise colour with the sun, a cursor and labels present, it appeared to be running fine as sounds were playing and options to do stuff with cursor were available. Upon exiting the mission returning to the main screen caused it to go plain black. Closing and reopening DCS allowed the mission to be run with corrected video, but after changing the settings again the same problem arose.
