Thisdale Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Hey Everyone, Any word on DCS supporting the new Nvidia Ansel architecture? In a nutshell, the latest generation of Nvidia cards allow engines to grab screenshots in 360 "automatically". Which can then be adjusted on the fly (engine camera and such) for perfect angle. They also produce 360 screenshots to be reviewed with VR-able equipment, or the equivalent (those 360 screenshots on Facebook). videos and nvidia link here: Promo video: [ame] [/ame] Uncut Editing here: [ame] [/ame] Webpage: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-ansel-for-mirrors-edge-catalyst-available-now Pretty powerful tool, this. http://www.youtube.com/konotani Computer Specs: Z97X-gaming Mobo 4670k i5 24G DDR3 GTX 1080 Asus PG278Q Rog Swift 27-INCH G-SYNC Valve Index Thrustmaster Warthog Fanatec Clubsport Pedals (used as Rudders) Thrustmaster T300 Arcantera Wheel Obutto R3volution rig
Thisdale Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Pushing this back up. I've been using this in other games (Ghost Recon: Wildlands) and it's very cool tech. Naturally, it wouldn't work in any Multiplayer format, but at the same time, it could totally work for Single-Play and Replay (where there are no MP inputs). Its very powerful, allows 3D and 360 screenshots and upsamples up to 16K screen size. Very fun to use as well. http://www.youtube.com/konotani Computer Specs: Z97X-gaming Mobo 4670k i5 24G DDR3 GTX 1080 Asus PG278Q Rog Swift 27-INCH G-SYNC Valve Index Thrustmaster Warthog Fanatec Clubsport Pedals (used as Rudders) Thrustmaster T300 Arcantera Wheel Obutto R3volution rig
