Theranthil Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Hello, I have a huge FPS drop during mission 3 of operation dixmude when I reach the obs point near the bridge. At night i'm around 25 fps at the beginning of the mission and once I reach this point it drops to 4 or 5. If I slow down time, things get better (about 12 fps). Any idea where this come from ? I lowered my settings, removed the shadow, there is a slight improvement but not much. I've played several night mission before (mostly on A10), never had such fps drop. (Thanks by the way, the Gazelle is amazing to fly !)

Theranthil Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 i7 860 @ 2.80Ghz 20 GB DDR3 Radeon R9 280X SDD 850EVO 250Go Track Ir Display : 1 HD screen (1920x1080) I had the mirrors activated at the time but I did a quick test without mirrors and I saw no real improvement.
dimitriov Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Hi, it may come from your CPU. The amount of units on this mission is thought for modern configurations, with better CPU. This is why modifying the amount of details won't change a lot of things. I'm not sure I can do anything except making a very light version of the mission. Nicolas
