Annoyance: Controls Indicator setting too volatile

I have noticed one major annoyance, the "Show Controls Indicator" control setting is a True/False type of setting which has a default hotkey of RCTRL+Enter and it is OFF by default, it's used to show aircraft flight axis gui assist, I believe it's classified as a cheat, because I seem to use it often (beginner) I have found that it's a bit annoying becuase it's not being remembered in the mission session , it therefore only remembers the setting in the current flight session, spawning a new plane resets the setting to off, and I'm practising landings in high winds, so I have a lot of respawns.

 

On the other hand:

Another GUI thing, The Show FPS settings does apply to the mission session and does not reset when respawning.

 

 

I purposely say annoyance as I do not think that my opinion would be objective enough to get enough validity to label it as a bug. Ofcourse from the developers point of view everything unintended can be classified as a bug even if it's not breaking anything but I'm not sure about this one.

You certainly have a point Wader, and i can see why it causes problems for you. I guess it is just a simple as a flag that is reverts to a default every time you reset a mission.

 

It isn't really a bug as it works as the designers intended.
