Framerate drop when radar on

Hi so whenever I play usually as su-27 or mig-21 on multiplayer or singleplayer when the radar isn't on I get around 60fps but when I turn it on, fps drops to 10-20 and makes it unplayable. Is there any solutions?

I believe it's a know issue, I have been using the M2000C allot lately and definitely notice on that aircraft although that may be a separate issue.
