FFB helicopter trim behaviour since latest update of 1.5.4 Public

Since the latest update of 1.5.4 Public, this doesn't work for me anymore. I use the Hotas Cougar with a G27 enabled, but DCS doesn't recognize the G27 FFB ability anymore eventhough FFB is checked in the option menu.

 

Any thoughts?

 

 

EDIT: Going back to the previous 1.5.4.55584 version cures the problem. So apparently ED did some changes to the controller system. ED...please don't!
