Cant assign my joystick to some commands in FC3

Hi Guys, In Open Alpha Latest version I cant assign a few commands like Weapon Release or Jettison External Tanks Etc. The blocks in the various joystick columns are dark grayed out.

In 1.5, I dont even have the options like weapons release available.

I am using TM Warthog.

Anyone else see this?
