how to add custom labels to mission

Hi,

 

as stated in the news from 19th of August, how do I add custom Labels to a mission??

 

# I do have the lables.lua file

# I have a mission

# don't know what to do next

Haven't tried it, but sounds like you just need to add the labels file to the mission file.

 

The .miz file is actually a normal ZIP file with specific files inside. So you can open it in any program that understands ZIP files, e.g. 7-zip, WinRAR, etc.

 

Or, you can rename it to end with .zip and use Windows Explorer to access its contents, then rename it back to .miz when you're done.

 

I guess just try copying the labels.lua into the root of the mission archive?

Hey LuSi 6,

 

I tried this new custom labels to mission feature and all you have to do is:

1. Make two new folders "Config" and "View" and put your labels.lua in:

Config > View > labels.lua

2. Open your mission "MIZ" file with WinRAR (or other) by double-click "Open with".

3. Drag the "Config" folder to the root of the opened "MIZ" file and close.

4. That's it! Have fun!
