Well... delete the relevant ../Saved Games/DCS folder, repair DCS via the updater and try again. the only file u need to create is the autoexec.cfg iirc. all other should be created by dcs at first mp launch as a server.

Is that required to get the server to start up?

Is there a log file that might point to a problem?

Thank you :)

Port forwarding isnt required for firing up but for finding it in the mp server list. (maybe u also want to change the port for the hosting machine to something else in case u want to play from same/another comp on the same LAN)

Logs can be found in ..//Saved Games/DCS/Logs

I will be playing from another PC on the same subnet. I will also allow connections from the internet. Is this required?

Thanks again!

After deleting that folder, the game launches now.

Now I set my server up using the new server button on the multiplayer page instead of following that other post about 10 easy steps?

Thanks again :)
