Downed Pilot 1995 (Bosnia)

I was in Aviano AB when this happened When word came down 6 days later, Me and 6 of my Pilots scrambled down the ski resort we were staying in. After Orders were given, the Task Force told us to only send up 2 A-10s to aid int the rescue. Well my Pilots requsted to fly Suppression for the Rescue Force, the Powers at be told them to maintain altitude. Thats all I got to say about that. Capt Scott O'h Grady was Rescued

 

We got to see him and hear him speak after he was flown to Aviano to Thank us all. Im glad I was part of that. My Job was Life Support/ Personnel Equipment, and I was a certified Combat Survival Instructor for the USAF-Res.:)
