Hi, all:

As you can see I'm new in DCS stuff and now I'm planning to create my own Air Force :pilotfly:.

DCS offers a true realism beyond anything I've seen and it shows a permanently developing architecture that looks quite inviting.

I've got one question for Belsimtek and their F-5E.

Chile (my nation) bought in the middle '70s one of the last blocks, so they arrived 40 years ago in Santiago sporting a very distinctive dorsal fin extension. Lately Mexicans, Singapore and some of Brazilian F-5Es sported the same issue. My question for Belsimtek guys: Is it any way to include the option for a dorsal fin extension like that Chilean, Mexican, Singapore and (some) Brazilian models (including the significative change in flight model allowing a small extra degree in stability)?

For a better depiction in this late-Tigers II feature an image says more than a thousand words. So, I attached a good shot of it:

Thanks a lot and congratulations for your excellent rendition of this oldie and well-loved pilot's plane!

PAULBINET :D

I'm guessing the answer to this will be the same as for all the other export mod requests. The version modeled is the F-5E3, and not an export variant, and as such, it most likely will not be changed to include any of these things.

Do a search for all the other requests to get a flavour of the comments made by developers when asked this kind of question.

It's a pity, because there is a huge potential for an add on pack of these little goodies in something like a premium DLC package. You never know though, it might happen in the future if there is felt to be sufficient demand for it.
