Is it possible to 'up' the cockpit texture resolution?

I was wondering if Lock-on allows higher resolution textures in the cockpit. I know that you can force 2048x2048 for the exterior skins, but I'm not sure about the gauge textures.

 

Has anyone tried this yet?
