Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Based on the positive effects setting this to OFF in simulators based on OpenGL, and since DCS is not DX12 but rather DX11, today I created a profile for NI with threaded optimization = OFF. I also have "single display performance mode" set to single display performance mode and "Power management mode" set to Prefer maximum performance in the "Common" section. Apparently I got a more stable 60 fps ( I use VSync enabled in the DCS Settings ) at the MP server where sometimes I see the frames drop substantially near town or enemy airfield in the presence of multiple players... Can be placebo effect - will have to test further... Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
humptydumpty Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 I kept all the settings to default in Nvidia control panel and have gained a 7-8 fps and no issues. Even for Xplane / FG all are now set to default without any changes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Attitude Power Trim Power Attitude Trim Wing Commander SWAC
