WIP MACCHI MC202 FOR DCS

Ho visto nella sezione Mods internazionale questo thread e ,se posso permettermi , riporto la discussione anche nella sezione Italiana visto che il mod in questione è in sviluppo dai nostri italianissimi amici "The Italian Ace" e secondo me è interessante parlarne anche qui:thumbup:

Da quanto ho capito è una rivisitazione di un lavoro fatto per un' altro sim per portarlo nell' ambiente DCS , come FM ,ecc.. dovrebbe utilizzare quello del 109K.

 

A parte i doverosi complimenti e l' incoraggiamento per il proseguo del lavoro ,il poter avere un Macchi in DCS è veramente una grandissima cosa , la prima domanda che mi viene diciamo spontanea è questa , perchè il Folgore e non il Veltro che sarebbe molto più adatto al prossimo teatro in uscita?

 

Quest' ultimo condivide molti, moltissimi aspetti con il Folgore ed è equipaggiato con cannoni da 20mm e sopratutto con il DB605 (anche se ovviamente della stessa serie di quello installato sul 109K..) , cosa che lo renderebbe sicuramente più appetibile rispetto al primo che invece ha solo due Safat 12.7mm e monta il DB601.

 

Magari potrebbe arrivare dopo il Folgore?

I think working on the 205 is better and i can use the K4 engine as reference model (exhaust pipes)

The adaptation of my previous model began symbolically by the wings.

according to the ED models structure I will do first the outside with the relative damage model and after the detailed cockpit trying to avoid geometries that provide a pop-up effect in VR-mode.

I'll put the next images in the weekend, beginning a series of weekly updates.

 

The model will be as accurate as possible, thanks to original drawings in my hands, but I will choose from time to time the amount of detail to be added.

I reserve the possibility to improve the geometry at all times, with subsequent releases.

Bellissimo il 202, ma il Veltro è decisamente una macchina più performante e meglio armata, ottima decisione passare al 205.:thumbup:

Il progetto di portare il Veltro in DCS procede , e da quanto si vede stà venendo un gran bel lavoro.

Added front canopy frame/moulding details.

Tail general shape completed and ready for cuts/details works.

Local fuse shape adjustment and mesh redefine.

 

 

The model is also ready for the texturing first studies,i will work for the first UV map test next week,just colours and test camouflages to see how the light moves on the surfaces.
