pandoraefretum Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 When I exit Settings Control (Axis) MC2000C crashes to a black screen in DCS 2 (Win10) Anyone know a solution ?
Maulkin Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Is this with DCS release version, beta version or alpha version? --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
pandoraefretum Posted April 1, 2017 Author Posted April 1, 2017 Thanks for the interest.. Only Mirage 2000 Axis Settings blacks out when I hit OK... other aircraft are fine DCS World 2 OpenAlpha version 2.05.3521 I didn't know there were other versions (apart from 1.5)
Zeus67 Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Thanks for the interest.. Only Mirage 2000 Axis Settings blacks out when I hit OK... other aircraft are fine DCS World 2 OpenAlpha version 2.05.3521 I didn't know there were other versions (apart from 1.5) It is an annoying bug that so far neither us nor ED can replicate so it can be squashed. The workaround is to edit the controls when you are flying the aircraft. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
pandoraefretum Posted April 1, 2017 Author Posted April 1, 2017 Ahh, well, I'll use the workaround... thx for letting me know, I might not have tried !! I tell you what looks funny / suspicious though.... the assignment values (X, Y, RX, Z etc.) are all flickering (as if something is not stable) in M2000C.... other aircraft don't do it...
Azrayen Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Even in 2.0.5.3521? The one that is out since yesterday? If that's so, maybe you have conflicting inputs => check your options/controls settings. Think Gamepad, 2nd mouse... anything plugged to the computer that may send inputs to DCS.
Maulkin Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Yeah ive had that when more than one controller is bound to an axis. --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
