DSMS Station 7 and SAFE reverse video

I have tried Mk82 LDGPs, AIRs, and CBUs on station 7, paired with station 5, as single and triple mounts. But whatever I do the station is always in reverse white video, while station 5 highlights in green. All other stations work as expected. Master Arm is set to ARM.

 

As a follow up, both stations 4 and 8 white until CCIP release, then immediately green.

What happens when you press the corresponding MFCD buttons? ie: select/deselect the station?

 

Selected stations are full white, unselected are green outline.

I tried selecting and deselecting, but the station, or stations, would continue white reversed. I had the puzzling situation where one station would be green, the other white, both using the same weapon type. I have a suspicion it's related to using the active pause. That's the only thing I can think of.
