Wingman aircraft not on mission frequency

Recently I ejected from my aircraft after a SAM hit. I jumped into my AI wingman's aircraft via F10. Now checking his knee board all radio frequencies did not match the mission planner frequencies for the Mirage? All were in the high band UHF range.

 

Worse still, his GBU Bombs did not show as being loaded, only the Magic and 530's could be selected.

 

Both my aircraft and wingman's has same load out.

 

Is this just something I did wrong or is it an AI bug?
