OVR SDK Client API Version

I've been playing around with the Oculus tray tool.

 

When I turn the "Visual HUD Overlay" to "Version info", I see when running DCS (1.5 and 2.0) that the "OVR SDK Client API Ver" shows 1.7.0. For other VR apps like Oculus home, it shows already 1.12.0.

 

Does this mean, DCS uses an older version or is there anything on my system that needs to be updated? (Note, the OVR SDK Runtime Version is 1.14.0.)
