This thread might end up as a debate about what a Lomcevak really is. Because the airplane has no precession from a propeller, I think a purist would simply call it that maneuver a "tumble." (Although that does look like a great cap Lomcevak!) Makes you wonder if other straight-wing trainer jets could do that. Nobody as crazy as the Italians has ever tried!

I was asking because soon MB-339 will be replaced by M-345HET (similar to Alphajet) and probably this maneuver will be removed from the exhibition:cry:

Really an impressive maneuver, I've seen them last year.

The Frecce and Al Fursan team have the same aircraft and performs similar maneuvers program.

The crazy flight, along the lomcevak, are the signs of a fantastic balance of performance and aerodynamic charateristics for sure.
