TacView and Win2000 Problem

When I try to open TacView for a mission replay after I used FC, Tacview won't open the file, instead my computer almost gets frozen, so I barely can manage to use the mouse pointer to close TacView. Most times, I have to kill it using the task manager.

 

This happened with previous versions of TacView, too (using 0.90 now).

 

If I open TacView without running FC before, everything works fine.

 

Any idea what causes this problem ?

 

Win2000 SP4, TacView 0.90, FC 1.12a

Athlon 64 3400+, MSI board, 1 GB RAM, 6600 GT

I use win2kpro & (an early) tacview & it works fine on here after running FC.. (not trying to be unhelpful, but just saying that the early versions at least will work on 2000 so maybe it's not the OS as such)
