I remember Janes F18 had quite extensive carrier ops, patterns for recovery, and rolling decks. Has there been any official information on just how much of all that is going to be included in the module or will it be a separate module or not even being developed? With that, we all appreciate that manual carrier landings, at night, with no stars and bad weather are the most difficult and stressful approaches any pilot anywhere will ever face. Add a rolling and pitching deck to that and the danger and skill levels required become extreme. Is there any official word on just how much of this will be accuractly modelled? As someone born to the wrong country to enlist for the F14 / F18, I always wondered if I was good enough, and a sim like this, the quality and expertise offered by DCS, may hopefully give me some indication and experience of just what those high pucker-factor recoveries would have been like. Again, sorry if this is a dupe.
