In Brazil, you can try the Vive VR for R$20 (6 dollars) or even R$10

If you live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, you can go now to the Village Mall and visit the event called "A Era dos Games". The ticket costs R$ 20,00 which is like 6 dollars (if you go by car you'll probably pay some more for the parking too). If you're entitled to half-price ticket (student, etc.) you can pay only R$ 10,00. There you can try a bit of the Vive VR. It will last till about the end of February.

What can I say, is it worth going there? NO and YES...

NO, because the game available there is so boring it doesn't make you interested... or at least it didn't impress me at all. The title on the screen was Xortex 26XX, but from what I understand it was just a part of it, called "Classic". Did I feel immersed? Yes, immersed in a boring small unrealistic and monochromatic room with flying spheres that you have to shoot while they try to shoot you. I didn't notice any defect like movement lag, graphic issue or even the famous 'screen door effect', but then again it was all so quick, and I was instinctively more concentrated in killing the spheres and not doing bad in front of the staff lady, that I might have missed any problem. After leaving, I asked the lady if there will be any more titles, and she said no... I can only imagine it must be great with more interesting titles like DCS...

YES, because it is an opportunity to satisfy that burning curiosity about VR. I don't know about you, but I had a CRAVING URGENT BURNING HUNGRY THIRSTY UNCONTROLLABLE curiosity to try VR (still have). And the feeling of immersion is there and it's good. Plus considering the actual price of VR here, this is a way to try VR without selling your soul to the devil.

After leaving Rio, I guess the event will go to other cities, but I'm not sure.
