Adding axis to zoom possible?

Hi guys, just wonder if it would be possible to add an axis for a function in DCS, in particular for the external zoom...for some reason, it is available for internal zoom but not external so I would like to know if someone knows how to make possible to assing an axis to external zoom also. I did some 3 positions switch abstractions so maybe it can be done in a similar way for an axis?¿?¿
