Johnny Dioxin Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 (edited) I'm building A/A practise missions for all modules capable of the task and wish to make AWACS available for those aircraft which don't have A/A radar fitted. I have set an E-3A to orbit at 15,000ft msl at the highlighted waypoint 1. The highest altitude the targets fly at will be 10,000ft msl. All of the red flight paths shown in the screenshot are "enemy" aircraft routes. Would 15,000ft be sufficient for the AWACS to cover the area? Johnny Dioxin Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 No matter - if it isn't, pilots will just have to find the targets themselves.
