I've been doing a lot of testing of the AGM-65 both the G (IR) and K (CCD) variants. So here's my issue I've been having. When I have the maverick as SOI and I'm flying level I can slew where ever but if I pitch or bank the maverick seeker doesn't keep tracking the point on the ground where I had it looking. It'll drift with the aircraft...very annoying. So is there a way I'm not seeing to keep it locked on my point of interest or am I doomed to just use the no zoom DMT? Also it seems a lot easier to keep a point locked when I'm using an IR missile over the CCD.

Also cant wait for mini-axis binding! Great module!

If you don´t ground lock the maverick seeker, it will keep moving, since it is initially slaved to the FPM. During slewing, it is not ground locked.

It is easier to slave it to a different sensor, IE DMT, to have a better chance to lock the target you want.

Don´t forget that this is not the A-10C...it functions differently.

GCI: "Control to SEAD: Enemy SAM site 190 for 30, cleared to engage"

Striker: "Copy, say Altitude?"

GCI: "....Deck....it´s a SAM site..."

Striker: "Oh...."

Fighter: "Yeah, those pesky russian build, baloon based SAMs."
