Strange artifact with fog and canopy

This is the second mission in the A-10A The Valley campaign.

 

As the plane rolls, some sort of reflection of the fog "opens up" on the canopy. Rolling back level it goes away. This was present throughout the entire mission.

 

Difficult to explain with text and screen shots. Best to fly mission and look out the side of the canopy while rolling back and forth.
