Dav IRL Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 I have loaded my data cartridge in, all the info comes up on the kneeboard except QFE? Any takers? I am on the Persian Gulf Map. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.

Find QNH on the kneeboard, find the elevation of your target (use F10 map and mouse over where the target is and find its elevation displayed on the top left corner), input QNH and target elevation in a QFE calculator like this one or use the QFE calculation function in Sgt. Cyanide's Flight Planner app, then change altimeter to the appropriate value.
Dav IRL Posted May 30, 2018 Author Posted May 30, 2018 Both very good options, thank you both I will return with some feedback on how I got on, I am starting to enjoy the Viggen but my CCIP bombing in Persian Gulf is really bad as the terrain is mountainous. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.
