Offset Fixation, Weather, and Comms

1. I saw a video recently on how to add static aircraft to the aircraft carrier deck. However when I try to do so it doesn't work. If I do not select Offset Fixation the aircraft do not show up at all. If I do select Offset Fixation they are all piled up onto one spot and I can't move them anywhere else. And yes I have the Stennis object as the unit they are linked to.

 

2. Weather presets don't appear to be working all of a sudden. I click on Autumn Rain and it loads the settings but when I go to click the save icon next to the preset load icon it is greyed out, even though I have changed some of the settings. And simply saving the entire mission doesn't save the weather either, it just goes back to Default Weather.

 

3. I have noticed even though I am using the Comm1 and Comm2 activation keybindings for my controls, I only get a response about every one in three radio attempts (so, for example, calling ATC at an airbase to get clearance to taxi. Sometimes it works the first time. Sometimes I make the request and the pilot doesn't even send the outbound radio request. Just silence. After trying like three times the pilot wakes up and makes the request and ATC will answer. Same thing happens with ATA tankers.

 

Thoughts?

#1 appears to be fixed with the latest patch.

#2 appears to be intermittent now. Can set it now but sometimes the weather still doesn't rain even though it is set to that.

#3 appears to be resolved if you turn off Easy Comms
