Hey guys im currently using a keyboard at work to fly my plane as bringing my joystick to work is inconceivable. Is there a way I can change the pitch so that it only pitches when I press the button as at the moment I press pitch up then I have to press pitch down again to stop it from going up and vice versa???

Thank in advance for your help

Hey FL. Doing a forum search, or even a Google on topic, yields scantly results. I have a HOTAS setup but keep it 'stowed' and sometimes just want to fire up DCS to check a setting change or explore options. As a result I frequent 'fly' with the keyboard.

Bank left/right works as you'd expect, deflecting the control surfaces as long as you keep the key pressed, but then re-centering when the key is released. Pitch, for some bizarre reason, acts that way half the time; otherwise it acts like a trim setting and the control surfaces stay deflected when the key is released.

I can't find any literature that gets into the nuts and bolts of keyboard flight control in DCS, and only a few anecdotes that echo the problem. Sorry I can't shed more light. PS Welcome aboard!
