ME - Template to include Unit, Waypoints & Trigger groups

I recently posted a question in the ME section about this but since very little information came out of it and my perso tests all failed, i'm moving this into a Wish.

 

The request is to create "advanced templates" that include the following:

A unit/group

A set of waypoints (1,2,3,4...) without geo-lock

A set of Triggers associated with the unit/group

 

The Reason for this request:

I often create missions that involve a very similar (if not identical) Unit/group Trigger sequence (spawn under flag x, flag y if dead, send message when alive, send message when dead...) and so far, i always have to re-create these groups by hand and its incredibly time-consuming.

 

Example of what i'd like to save as an "advanced template":

Spawn tank if flag 2

Tank has waypoints and ROE

Play message to coalition on spawn

play message to coalition on tank damage

flag 3 on tank dead

play message to coalition on tank dead

I'm not good at .lua editing and have no idea if this is even possible by playing in one. Having a more ME-friendly way to do this would greatly help.
