SEAD question on setting up in Mission Editor

I have added a few SEAD (SU-25) in my mission to help take out the Sam sites around our target. They take off and fly over the target on the way points I set but I don't think they are even trying to release any ordnance on the Sams. Do I need to set up a trigger? Any help on making the SEADS do their job?

edit: I found some videos on youtube so I think I am on my way to at least understanding how to arm the SU-25 properly but still need to know if that is all it takes to use as AI to help the team on a mission.
