Guest 15091Bravo Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 Hi All, I took my PC to a friend's place today for some LAN LOMAC gaming. We are both running PC's with Windows XP and version 1.2 of LOMAC. Our PC's were connected directly with a network cable. We couldnt get the game to work through a LAN network. Got into the network play screen, one of us would host, the other would try and join as client but when the client went to connect we would get 'network error' message. The person hosting could get into the lobby and start the session but the other could not join. We both got our own IP addresses on screen, and the client would enter the IP for the host but when we clicked 'start' to join the game just kept getting that damn 'network error' message. We thought it may be just a general network error external to the game, ie our PC's weren't communicating, however we could access each other's shared folders in Windows Explorer and managed to play Company of Heroes LAN multiplayer just fine. So it must be something unique to LOMAC. Any advice???? Thanks Jon
