Infantry on boats

Is it possible to put infantry on a boat. I've tried but this poor soldier falls in the sea. Is it possible for him to stay on the boat until I come with my Huey to embark him ?

the only way to currently do this is to set a zone on the disembark point and activate your hidden and inactive troops when the boat hits it.
