Warthog Stick Intermittent Recognition

Why does Win10 see my Warthog as a Multimedia Device and not as Game controller? Contrary, my TPR Pedals are detected as game controller. Very strange.

 

Having issues with stick being detected by windows, but buttons don't work when testing in game controller/properties. Button operation will sometimes return if I unplug/plug in stick. Changing USB port has no discernible effect. Sometimes I have to remove device from windows completely before functionality will return.

 

TARGET Script Editor will compile and Run with no error reported. Script will stop when stick is unplugged.

 

I gonna report this to Thrustmaster, but previous experience has ranged from less than stellar to downright useless.

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

So far so good. Seems I have a very old USB drivers that are no longer supported on my MB

ASUS Crossfire V formula Z driver by ASmedia.

 

 

So added a PCIE USB card and reinstalled my Throttle and Stick Firmware.

 

 

Seems to work fine. Knock on wood.
