Crash after self made mission!

For some reason, when i quit a self made mission... when i try to "quit" back to the menu, the screen goes black. i can alt tab back to the desktop but, the game is frozen. its really annoying because i really want to watch the replays and save them and stuff :( anyone know anything about this ?
