Thrustmaster Warthog mvr flaps position f-18 hornet

Is there a way to get the MVR setting to work in the Hornet? I do remember an update came down and the middle position was working but whatever profile that got set doesn't work with my own.

Mvr? You mean Auto? The available flap settings for the Hornet are Auto, Half and Full afaik.

Derp, just looked at my Warthog and now I get what you mean. I’ve basically never looked at those flap signs lol.

 

What you need to do is go to the “special for joystick” filter for the control bindings and look for the flap bindings which are like “Auto otherwise Half” and “Full otherwise Half” or similar. Basically you don’t actually bind the centre position but you set it so the sim goes to Half flap if it’s not being explicitly told to go the Auto or Full.
