VHOEI Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 (edited) Hi There, **This is not a guaranteed bug.*** I have been doing the F/A-18 Hornet 'Instant Action' BFM missions in the latest (non-beta) version of DCS 2.5. However, I have found that when the target is being tracked by radar in the gun mode (I can't remember this mode's name off the top of my head) and I place the piper over the target aircraft and the 'SHOOT' cue is flashing (I am in range), when I fire the gun, I find that none of the bullets will hit the target despite doing a long burst which is 'on the target.' This happens at all attitudes and I find that I can only get direct hit on the target at very close ranges. I apologise for the lack of log files and lack of video footage to describe my 'issue.' I am not sure if this is correct or not however, I feel that this may be a bug. I am happy to admit that I am wrong though if that is the case. Kind Regards. lemoen Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 The sight can only calculate where the plane will be if it keeps doing what it is doing, if it has any acceleration (in any direction) the bullets will probably miss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
