POV Sensitivity

I am new to this, so hope this isn't a stupid question.

I am trying to reduce the point of view sensitivity.

When I use the top hat on my joy stick or the keyboard I always overshoot and end up looking in the wrong direction.

I have tried editing view.lua but nothing I do seems to have any effect.

I am using DCS V2.5 and the A10C module.

btw: I tried copying my lua file to C:\Users\<YOUR PROFILE>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\

and edited it there but still no change :(
