Even if I request to connect ground power sources, electricity is not supplied to the aircraft. Aircraft turned off and aircraft systems must start again. If I look into NATOPS and think so I do not think it's simulated accurately 2.5.4 External Electrical Power.External electrical power may be connected to the aircraft bus system through an external electrical power receptacle on the left side of the forward fuselage. The aircraft buses are energized by external power in the same manner as if a generator were operating. On aircraft 162394 AND UP, the aircraft buses are energized as above provided the battery switch is OFF or the parking brake is set. If the battery switch is ON and the parking brake is not set, the ac buses associated with the right generator are not energized. This condition is indicated by the GEN TIE caution coming on. Some aircraft systems do not energize immediately upon application of external power. Power can be applied to these systems through actuation of ground power switches.
