How do I mod DCS steam version?

Hello,

So I am trying to join a online squadron and they run a few mods. I have no problem going ahead and downloading them but I have no clue how to mod the Steam version of DCS. Dose anyone know how I go about doing that?

To my knowledge, you follow the normal instructions and put the mods in either the saved games folder in your user profile as normal, or if it goes in the game folder you just have to put it the steam based location which is I your program files(x86)/steam/common/steamapps

Or something like that, I'm writing it from memory, but all steam games go to the same place by default so you should be able to ask Google if that's wrong

So it shouldn't be any different from a install from DCS then it seems. Thank you.
